This school has stood in Cape Coast for a long time. It takes children from crèche and walks them all the way to J.H.S. 3. It teaches them their books and it teaches them how to carry themselves.

Susan Aba Holdbrook-Smith Kwaidoo has spent roughly three decades in education, including years as Assistant Headmistress at Christ the King International School in Accra, before founding Sir Peter Holdbrook-Smith Memorial School in Cape Coast. She still leads the school she built. "Trusting God and Pursuing Excellence" isn't just the motto on the crest, it's the standard she's held the school to from the start.

Active recall means a child is asked to bring knowledge back out rather than read it over again. It is harder in the moment and it sticks for far longer.
